Corey lives in the Portland, Oregon area. He attended Portland State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2012. Corey spent many years as a mortgage professional, underwriting loans and managing the underwriting process at such organizations as Bank of America, The Travelers Companies, MGIC Investment Corporation, and Greenpoint Mortgage.
Corey then went to law school at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2023. He passed the Oregon bar and worked as a civil defense attorney at Brisbee & Stockton, with experience in litigation, insurance defense, and small business law. Corey opened a distillery in Oregon, giving him first-hand knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the beverage industry including business formation, contracts, compliance, and related litigation.
